CAMPOBELLO ISLAND

Located in southwestern New Brunswick, Canada, Campobello Island was first inhabited by the Passamaquoddy Nation calling it Ebaghuit. With a year-round population of about 949 residents, Campobello is known for its striking beauty, unique lighthouses, vast beaches and abundant wildlife. The cottage, referred lovingly to as CAMPO (a combination of the Maine concept of Camp and of the island name itself), is tucked up in a quiet cove. It is off-grid and is the ideal place for reflection, creativity, solitude, perspective and peace. We are aiming to offer sliding scale artist residencies here soon. Keep posted for more.
